NCFE Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training

Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is intended to provide learners with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue career in both public & private education sector. Learners who are currently working in the academe or training sector may use the qualification to gain personal or professional growth or points for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), which may open opportunity for promotion.
Learners registered in the qualification will be able to understanding the theories, principles, and approaches of teaching and training by conducting a training session; managing a classroom, analyzing issues about teaching/ training and learning; using different technology tools and online platforms in training and teaching; and applying skills gained through this qualification.

Learning Objective

This qualification develops practical teaching skills and, through the optional units, prepares teachers to work in a wide range of contexts. It requires observation and assessment of practice. It can meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, including:

• • •  Individuals who are not currently teaching and training – but who can meet the practice requirements, including the observed and assessed practice requirements, of the qualification.
    • Individuals who are currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching training) who can meet the practice requirements, including the observed and assessed practice requirements, of the qualification.
    • Individuals currently working as Assessors who wish to achieve a teaching qualification.

The objective of this qualification is to confirm occupational competence in a teaching role with in the workplace.
